Congratulations to Chip Peraldo
Winner of the Mastercraft X-1 boat!

Lisa and Allan Mueller were two of the photographers at the "Freezin it for Fifteen" event this year. You can see their photos by clicking the "Pictures 2009" menu link or at the Flickr web site: Flickr.com. If you want a high resolution paper photograph, contact them at AlmPhoto.com.

The CityView Magazine photographers were also braving the nasty weather. Check out their photos at: FleetwoodPhoto.com

Online pictures are shown at low resolution, so if you want to get a high res photo showing you Really Did water ski in that miserable weather, go to AlmPhoto or Fleetwood and order the picture that proves you did it! A portion of the proceeds will go to the Eskimo Escapades Foundation. Thanks again for all you have done. Beautiful young lady braving the cold, wet weather

From what some of the skiers and volunteers said, this year's Eskimo Escapades was a Really Grueling Event with heavy rain making it difficult for the skiers on both land and water. You couldn't get out of the wet stuff! Sometimes it seemed like there was more water in the air than in the river. Heck, the only way you could tell whether you were on land or in the river was because the river tasted muddy!

Cool Slalom Despite the miserable conditions (several skiers said they would rather have had snow than that heavy rain) seventy-one skiers were able to hit the water before we closed the tournament (for the skiers' safety) at around 1:30 due to all of the trees and branches washed into the river by all of the rain. Wakeboard Wakeup call Most of the wakeboarders didn't really want to use the floating trees as a rail anyway.

So much fun in the rain Alm Photo and the CityView Magazine photographers were out there with the skiers, volunteers, and intrepid spectators, so when people see how much fun it is to ski in a driving rain, why, everyone will want to ski next year! A winner Seriously, as soon as we get the pictures from the photographers, we'll put them online and you will have proof of just how much fun it was.

Everything considered, the skiers and the volunteers all did an absolutely wonderful job coming out and supporting this event.

Thanks for the Outstanding Job!
